Position: Badminton Coach

Location: Mississauga, ON

Salary: $25 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, to be determined

Start date: As soon as possible

Job requirements

· 2-3 years of badminton coaching experience

· National or international competitions and sporting events

· Secondary ( High School) graduate certificate or equivalent experience

· Passionate about coaching

· Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games

· Good understanding of rules, skills and strategies in badminton

· Can work both independently and as a group

· Punctual and reliable

Job Duties:

· Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions

· Develop, plan and coordinate competitive schedules and programs

· Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games

· Participate in coaching clinic instruction

· Analyze, observe and evaluate athletes’ or team’s skills and performance

· Train and coach students both in group lesson or one-on-one session

· Present materials at conference or symposium

· Participate in local, regional, provincial, national or international competitions and sporting events
