Staff Announcement

On behalf of Badminton Ontario, we are pleased to announce that Josée Matte will be joining our organization as our new Interim Executive Director effective March 6th 2023. Josée has a Sport Business Management background and brings valuable experience working with provincial and national sports organizations including Golf Canada and Ontario Para Network over the last decade. Josée is passionate about developing the Canadian sport system and providing quality sport opportunities for all.

Instructor – Greenwood College School

Greenwood College School is seeking a badminton instructor for our program. The instructor is responsible for helping with team tryouts, helping with team selection, designing, and implementing practice plans, assisting with the delivery of practices and coaching games. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Athletics and must be able to attend all practices and games, including the Conference of Independent Schools Athletics Association (CISAA) championships.

RIP, Jolyon Thompson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of longtime COBA executive member, Jolyon Thompson. Jolyon passed away last Sunday due to a sudden and unexpected heart attack.
