RIP, Jolyon Thompson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of longtime COBA executive member, Jolyon Thompson. Jolyon passed away last Sunday due to a sudden and unexpected heart attack.

Jolyon had a passion for badminton and was an active member of the badminton community for over 30 years. He was a competitive badminton player, an official, a coach (junior to collegiate), a member of various Badminton Ontario committees, an advisor, a Badminton Ontario award recipient, and so much more.

Badminton Ontario and the Central Ontario Badminton Association give our deepest condolences to Jolyon’s friends and family.
