Club Insurance with District Affiliation

Badminton Clubs that are affiliated with their regional District Badminton Association may purchase general liability and sport accident coverage for the club and its members. Any questions or concerns regarding the club insurance coverage must be brought to the district that you or your club is associated with. Individual Sport Accident Coverage

with Badminton Ontario Membership purchases

All individual members that purchase an Athlete Card (Performance A, Competitive B, P/T Regional C, P/T Masters), Coach Accreditation, and Officials Accreditation are covered by the Sport Accident Insurance Coverage.  Please feel free to contact Badminton Ontario staff for details or if you have any questions. 

SPORT ACCIDENT COVERAGE – INSURING AGREEMENT
The Insurer does hereby agree with the Named Insured to insure all player members, managers and coaches of the Named Insured (hereinafter individually called the Insured Person) against loss resulting directly and independently of all other causes from accidental bodily injuries sustained while this policy is in force (hereinafter referred to as “such injuries”) while and in consequence of
a) participating as a player member, manager or coach of the Named Insured in practice or competition which is organized under the supervision and direction of the Named Insured; or
b) being transported with other player members of the Named Insured as a group to or from the place of such practice or game;
all under the supervision and direction of the Named Insured.
