HIRING COACH: The Bishop Strachan School

Middle School and Senior School

Badminton Coach
December 6, 2021 until March 4, 2022

Renowned for its expertise in the particular learning needs of girls, BSS offers a single-gender environment that helps girls achieve their best. Continually reaching forward, renewing itself and keeping time with the fast-paced changes and increasing demands of the complicated world its graduates will face, BSS believes girls can do anything and strives to give them the tools to achieve whatever dreams they conceive.

To support our mission of providing our students with the best educational experience, we strive for excellence in every facet of the organization – including providing a stimulating, creative and lively work environment. We are seeking an exceptional and committed Badminton Coach with current NCCP coaching qualifications to lead our Middle School and Senior School badminton team.

The Badminton Coach will run tryouts, select the teams and coach two practices per week, plus games, including some travel to and from schools. The practice times will vary before school from 7:15 to 8:15 am or after school from 3:45 to 5:00 pm, pending gym availability. The teams will participate in approximately four to six games and will need to qualify for the final championship tournament.

Interested applicants should forward a cover letter and resume to Human Resources at The Bishop Strachan School by email to careers@bss.on.ca indicating Badminton Coach in the subject line.

The Bishop Strachan School has a mandatory COVID-19 vaccine policy in place for employees and students, unless official documentation of a human rights exemption is provided and can be accommodated.

We thank all candidates in advance.
We will, however, contact only those selected for an interview.
We believe that diversity in our school fosters a rich, inclusive and creative environment.
We are actively engaged in building a more diverse school
and encourage all qualified applicants to apply.
