The opportunities for Canadian coaches to become more involved with our Canadian athletes both domestically and internationally. Badminton Canada is welcoming applications for event-specific coaches for many different events throughout the 2018 calendar year. This includes all major international competitions where Canadian athletes and coaches are selected to help Canada beat the world.
BCAN CALLS FOR APPLICATIONS - 2018 COACHING OPPORTUNITIES
Badminton Canada is trying to ensure that there are many opportunities for coaches to gain professional development experience and this is another way in which this can happen. There are different levels of events and leadership opportunities available throughout this process. The events and minimum certification levels are all listed above in the attached documents for your reference. Please note that only coaches who apply or show interest during this process will be eligible to support Canadian athletes through the entire 2018 season. This includes any personal coach requests, but does not apply to coaches looking to support athletes at the domestic level (eg. Junior Elite Series, National Championships). Please also note that funding for these positions will be confirmed on a case-by-case basis per event, but all coaches will be informed prior to accepting any positions. Please ensure you submit the attached application form (in English/ French), along with your resume/CV and 3 references.

We will begin the coach selection process immediately following the close of applications. If you are not able to commit at this time but are interested in the opportunities, please email Jordan Bridal at jordan@badminton.ca to register your interest. You will be in consideration after those who have identified specific events.
