ORONTO – March 15, 2017 – This past weekend saw Ontario’s Junior badminton athletes go head to head at Humber College in the city’s west end. As part of Badminton Canada’s national junior elite series, this tournament saw 195 Athletes from Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, BC, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan and even the US come together to compete in the U15, U17, and the U19 events!
BADMINTON TAKES OVER TORONTO’S WEST END AT THE 2017 YONEX ONTARIO JUNIOR ELITE SERIES!

Badminton takes over the Toronto’s west end at the 2017 Yonex Ontario Junior Elite Series!
TORONTO – March 15, 2017 – This past weekend saw Ontario’s Junior badminton athletes go head to head at Humber College in the city’s west end. As part of Badminton Canada’s national junior elite series, this tournament saw 195 athletes from Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, BC, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan and even the US come together to compete in the U15, U17, and the U19 events!
Ian Moss, President of Badminton Ontario, spoke about the tournament and how a tournament like this increases the level of competition in Ontario.
“Badminton Ontario is proud to host the Badminton Canada Elite Series competitions – we know that this is an excellent opportunity for our best players to compete at home, and it also provides the opportunity for our coaches and officials to be highly engaged.”
As the host of one of the largest Junior Elite Series competitions in Canada, Badminton Ontario is pleased with the opportunity to host Badminton Canada competitions at this level:
