Mandarin Badminton Inc., 500 Esna Park Drive, Unit 8 Markham is currently looking for experienced Badminton Coach with International Level experience for a permanent full time position.  Salary commensurate with qualifications.

 

Mandarin Badminton Club is well known for providing first rate coaching and training for elite level players and also provide pleasant environment for recreational plays. The Badminton Coach will work under and report directly to the Executive Director of the Mandarin Badminton.

 

Requirements:

n   Minimum Ten years of recent coaching experience from beginners to international elite level status

n   Minimum 3 years of experience in coaching National teams at International level.

n   Proven record of achievement at international level competitions – minimum BWF (Badminton World Federation) top 50 ranking

n   Ability to communicate in basic English essential

n   Ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese an asset but not required

n   Ability to work well within a team environment

n   Excellent interpersonal / analytical / evaluation / planning skills

 

 

Job Duties

n  Monitoring training and practice sessions

n  Design individual personalized training programs for elite student players

n  Overseeing in-house competitions

n  Coaching our teams in tournaments and exhibition matches

n  Monitoring and evaluating the progress of our players at all levels

n  Training and preparing our advanced players for competitions, some of which will compete at the national team level and in international competitions

n  Overseeing the planning, designing and implementing evaluation, of the badminton programme in line with the agreed training and competition aims of the Executive Director of the Mandarin Badminton Club.
