30+ = Born in 1988; 35+ = Born in 1983; 40+ = Born in 1978; 45+ = Born in 1973; 50+ = Born in 1968; 55+ = Born in 1963;
50+ = Born in 1968**Masters must be that age as of the first date of the tournament, October 6th, 2018**
Participants may either play in their own age category and/or play down in a lower age category.
Each participant may only enter into a maximum of 2 doubles events and 2 mixed-doubles events, totalling a maximum of 4 events for the tournament (e.g. MD 35, XD35, MD 40, XD 40)
You should hold a Badminton Ontario Competitive B players' card to enter this event, if not, then you will be asked to pay a non-refundable levy fee of $15.00 to enter.
$45 flat fee to enter all events (1, 2, 3 or 4 events), with an additional fee of $15 if you do not hold a Badminton Ontario players’ card.
Entry fee is $45 per player for 1-4 events, payable with Interac e-transfer at email@example.com, password TDBAMasters
Saturday, October 6th all MD and WD
Sunday, October 7th all XD
Registration @ 8:15am
Matches begin @ 9:00am
Specific start times for each event will be posted shortly after registration closes
Match times will be scheduled and posted for the first round for all events
Players must be ready to play for their matches up to 30 minutes before the posted start time
Players will be defaulted if they are unable to play after 10 mins of being called
Medals will be awarded to the main round draw winner and finalist in each event or the top 2 players from a round robin.
Medals will also be awarded to the consolation winner, if consolation is played.
Entry deadline is Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 11:59pm.
Players withdrawing from the tournament must contact their partner(s) and the tournament chair (through email listed below)
Players withdrawing from the tournament after the deadline will not receive a refund unless a medical note signed by a physician is provided
Appropriate badminton attire is required, such as non-marking court shoes.
Approved safety eyewear (goggles) is highly recommended for all doubles matches.
There will be a limit of two feather shuttles per match provided.
This tournament will be cancelled at the discretion of TDBA if there are not enough participants and will be announced September 23rd
